MASTRIDICASA is a Tahoe–Truckee residential design studio serving homeowners who value thoughtful design, clear communication, and good decisions.

We design custom homes, remodels, additions, ADUs, feasibility studies, and permit-ready construction documents for clients who want more than a set of drawings. They want a steady hand, an honest opinion, and a design partner who understands how homes actually get built.

Our education in design and construction started early.

Long before MASTRIDICASA existed, there were drafting tables, job sites, builders, engineers, tradespeople, and the kind of practical lessons that do not come from a brochure or a branding exercise. Design was not an abstract idea. It was connected to dirt, lumber, weather, budgets, mistakes, fixes, and the people who had to live with the results.

Every line on a drawing has consequences in the field. Every design decision affects cost, schedule, structure, comfort, maintenance, and the daily life of the people who will live there. We take that seriously.

Building in the Sierra requires more than good taste.

Snow, slope, wildfire requirements, energy codes, local jurisdictions, TRPA, HOAs, site constraints, access, drainage, and construction realities all shape what a project can become.

MASTRIDICASA was established in Tahoe City in 2015 and works throughout the Tahoe–Truckee region and beyond. Our approach is shaped by mountain conditions, local processes, and the understanding that a home should respond to the land, not simply occupy it.
