This new mountain modern residential construction project was designed by MASTRIDICASA for one of our own - a local couple that are an integral part of the design / build industry here in Truckee-Tahoe.

This is another successful design-collaboration with the clients - she is a talented interior designer, and he is an accomplished general building contractor.

This design project posed a few challenges - the lot falls away from the road immediately, the design guidelines constrained the excavation, and a strict budget dictated all of the design options.

Working closely with the clients through a very detail-oriented design development process made this project a success, defined as: she got what she wanted, and he knew he could build it within their budget—a win-win.

The project was put "on-hold" in early 2025. As of Spring 2026, the project is "back on", and construction should begin shortly. Stay tuned for updates; we will post construction progress photos as they become available.
