A refined condominium remodel shaped around entertaining, comfort, views, and a more natural flow through the home.

Overlooking the 11th green at Silverado Resort, this condominium had the setting, scale, and potential to become a more relaxed and capable Napa retreat. The clients wanted a complete remodel that would improve daily living, support entertaining, and give the interiors a stronger sense of continuity.

We reworked the kitchen, breakfast area, fireplace wall, loft reading nook, primary suite, en-suites, and surrounding interior spaces to create a calmer, more cohesive home. A conditioned glass-walled wine display became a central feature within the entertaining area — prominent, but not overpowering.

The design focused on making the home feel more open, useful, and connected. The breakfast nook was brought into the life of the kitchen. The fireplace wall was revised to anchor the main living space. Private rooms were refined for comfort, storage, and better flow.

The result is a Napa condominium that feels polished without being formal, comfortable without losing refinement, and ready for the way the owners actually live and gather.

CONDITIONED WINE SHOWCASE

The conditioned glass-walled wine display became one of the defining features of the remodel.

Placed within the main entertaining area, it needed to feel special without taking over the room. The design gives the wine collection a clear presence while allowing the kitchen, dining, and living spaces to continue working as a connected whole.

Good feature elements should support the room, not dominate it.

REVISED FIREPLACE WALL / LOFT READING NOOK ABOVE

The fireplace wall was revised to bring stronger focus and proportion to the main living space.

Above, the loft reading nook became a quieter layer within the larger volume — a place to withdraw without feeling disconnected from the home. Together, these elements helped give the central living area more depth, warmth, and purpose.

DESIGN INTENT

The goal was not to make the home louder. The goal was to make it work better, feel calmer, and support the way the owners wanted to live.

With views over Silverado Resort and generous interior volume, the remodel needed restraint. The design focused on clearer room relationships, better flow, warmer finishes, and a more intentional connection between cooking, gathering, entertaining, and retreat.

The wine display, fireplace wall, kitchen, and loft all became part of the same larger idea: a home that feels refined, relaxed, and ready to be used.
