This new construction project was designed for one of our own - a local couple that are an integral part of the design / build industry here in Truckee-Tahoe.

MASTRIDICASA Architecture + Design was commissioned to design this new four bedroom, three and a half bath, two and a half car garage, separate guest en-suite, with a ground level private patio. This is another successful design-collaboration with the clients - she is a talented interior designer, and he is an accomplished general building contractor.

 

The design development phase has posed it's challenges - the lot is steep and drops away from the road immediately, and the design review committee's guidelines prohibit many of the "easy outs" for design solutions. With persistence and constant input and feedback from the power-couple, we all feel like this final design concept arrived at their ultimate solution, and can achieve their construction budget through careful and deliberate design decisions.
